MUFC 2026 Registrations – Early Bird Discount & 27 Feb Cut-Off

Hi MUFC families,

Are you coming back for the 2026 winter season? Here’s what you need to know about this year’s registrations:

 

Key Dates & Discounts


From 1 January – Early Bird Rego + Training/Coach/Manager Shirt Discount
Register early to secure your place for the 2026 winter season.
Use discount code: MUFC2026TRAINING for a shirt discount.
All discounts end on 9 February 2026.


9 February – Early Bird Ends
From this date:

  • Standard registration fees apply

  • Training shirt discount ends


27 February – Critical Date for Team Nominations
All Shoalhaven clubs must nominate the number of teams they will field in each SDFA competition age group by 27 February 2026. Whilst Shoalhaven nominations do not impact Primary Girls and Miniroos we strongly encourage early registrations to ensure you don't miss a team placement. 

Our team nominations will be based on registrations received prior to this date. After nominations:

  • Registrations may close for age groups that are already full

  • Any remaining registration opportunities will be limited to filling gaps in already-nominated teams

Competition rules set a maximum number of players per team, so we cannot simply “squeeze in” extra players once that cap is reached.

Example:
If an age group plays in a 9v9 competition, teams can include no more than 13 players.

  • If we have 18 players registered in that age group on 27 February, we would nominate 2 teams

    • 13 players in Team 1

    • 5 players in Team 2

  • We would then advertise for 8 additional players to complete Team 2

  • Once those spots are filled, registrations for that age group must close

Our club does not want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to play this season, which is why registering before 27 February 2026 is so important.

March & April

  • March (dates TBA): Grading and team announcements. Team training commences. 

  • March / April: Limited registrations only, to fill places in teams already nominated

  • April (dates TBA): Season kicks off!

How to Register & Get Help

If you wish to register in an alternative age group (i.e., up an age group), you must notify MUFC at the time of registration by answering the question included in the registration process, or by emailing admin@mufc.net.au.

Primary Girls Registrations must be made through the 'Player I Primary Girls' package, and not the U8/9/10 registration packages.
